Death Valley Racetrack Playa
Photo taken at this dry lakebed between the Last Chance Mountain Range to the west and the Cottonwood Mountains to the East. This is the area were very large rocks up to 700 lbs seem to move and leave an erosion marked trail in the dry mud . 
no one to this date has actually seen one of these rocks move , however there are several theroys on how they move across this dry lake bed. this is a interesting place to visit.

This area became a national park in 1994. In the 1800's cattleman, miners and homesteaders each left there marks upon the land. The park has 501 archeological sites, 88 historic structures 19 cultural landscapes and a meseum .

Photo taken in Anza Berrego State Park,is the largest state park in California with 500 miles of dirt roads this park is named after spanish explorer Juan Bautista de Anza and the spanish name berrego (big horn sheep) with 12 wilderness areas to wxplore and hiking trails threwout the park The sunrises and sunsets here are amazing with beautiful colors a photographers dream.
